Irish terrier Filka Mlynarka
She had been with us for almost 14 years.
We were on two dog shows, we got CAC.
We passed bloodhound tests.
We unsuccessfully tried agility.
We fought battles with her diseases - diabetes, cushing syndrome, insufficient thyroid gland function.
And finally we suffered through two months of trying to heal her from the result of a collision with car. We were unsuccessful and even after then Kely couldn't get o her feet, her glucose levels went through the roof and doctors said other dogs would have collapsed. So we had to do the final decision for her.

Dan - hairy german sheepdog without certificate of origin.
Dan got to us from a company which bought him together with an area. He was a watchdog so he was locked up or left to run around the area. When we lived in a prefab, I sometimes saw him barking at everything around him. He was a dog full of life and strenght. When we moved and took him, he was old with most of his teeth broken from biting sticks, he couldn't walk that well and was barking only for dignity. I thought he will get better if we give him proper veterinary care and good food and that he would have a nice retirement with us. Unfortunately about nine months later, he got a stroke. He was unable to move and when there was no improvement in his condition, we had to put him down.

The Chameleon
We had more chameleons, but this one had an interesting destiny. About two years ago in spring, I decided to put him on a bush outside to catch some sunrays. Chameleons tend to climb upwards, so he would be safe on the bush. However, the one I put him on was probably too small and so he decided to look for something better. Last we saw him climbing up a rake. It was in May. We were sad about his disappearance, but we put up with it over some time. In November, I walked my dogs in a forest abou 1.5 kilometers away from our home when I saw a strange colourful thing on the groun. It was the chameleon. He survived almost half a year in the wild and it was the frost and snow what killed him.
He was slim, but he still looked quite healthy.
